This Tea Tree: Calm and Refresh sheet mask is the first of five $1 masks I purchased to try from my Miss A shopping haul! If you would like to check out all the other $1 products I received from that order check out my YouTube video that will be linked at the end of this post.
First impression of this mask upon removing from the packaging was surprise and confusion. Surprise because there was such a large amount of product on the sheet and confusion because the product on the sheet smelled nothing like Tea Tree...
Upon putting the sheet on my face, the sensation was cool to the touch. I made sure to spread out the mask so it clung to as much as my face as it could evenly. I then allowed the mask to sit on my face for roughly 15 minutes. Within this time I felt a slight tingling sensation, but no burning or feelings which would cause concern for the health of my skin.
Two Laura Lee YouTube videos later, I removed the mask and toned my skin using Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion.
My overall opinion on this product is that it was definitely good for hydrating my skin and left it feeling very refreshed. However, the more today goes on my skin feels excessively oily compared to any other day. I believe this mask would be good for individuals with combination to dry skin that need cooling and hydration for their skin. I have oily skin to begin with, I feel as though this added another layer to hydration which was not needed, but will probably benefit me in the long run.
